We are an exchange program company specialized in the hospitality industry that offers positions for highly educated students and young professionals to do paid internships, management training programs and first-time jobs in the most luxurious hotels and restaurants in the United States and other countries around the world. We work with high-end hospitality properties and top international hotel chains to give the exposure, international experience and professional advancement in hospitality careers.
Kosen Exchanges Ltd works in partnership with Sponsors designated by the U.S. Department of State to sponsor foreign university students, recent graduates and young professionals through the J-1 Intern and Trainee exchange programs. The Sponsors provide the necessary documentation, sponsorship and support for exchange visitors to experience American culture and business practices through a paid internship or training program with American companies.

Kosen Exchanges Ltd does not charge any upfront administration fees and no payments need to be made until candidates get US Visa approval.

Kosen Exchanges Ltd is a company incorporated in Kenya. Our mission is to embrace and create opportunities for international understanding and human resource development for young professionals and students through technical and cultural exchange programs in a wide spectrum of disciplines majoring but not limited to hospitality industry.
Internship and Training programs bridge the participant’s course of study to their career development objectives. Participants gain practical knowledge in their specialized fields, while American staff gain international cultural and business awareness. Participants not only gain valuable insight into American business methods and practices, but they also immerse themselves into American society and culture.
Internship/Traineeship
The J-1 Internship program offers international students and recent graduates an opportunity to obtain work-based experience in the field of their education. The program exposes participants to American techniques, methodologies and expertise, while enhancing the interns knowledge of American culture and society.
Internship programs are structured and guided, and specifically relate to the participant’s academic field. They are supported by a detailed Placement Plan which outlines specific goals and learning objectives which will be accomplished during the internship program.
Program Duration
The Internship program is available for a maximum duration of 12 months.
Participant minimum eligibility requirements for applicants for the internship program.
All applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside of the U.S., and have completed at least one academic year, or have graduated from such an institution within 12 months of the start of the internship program.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have proficient English skills to perform in both social and internship activities. The goal to improve English in the course of the program is not a basis for which an intern will be selected to participate.
- Demonstrate a career focus through educational emphasis and focus and/or progressive professional experience in the area for which an applicant is applying for internship.
